在英语中，表示两者之间关系的不定代词有both，either，neither。但，一旦将三者放在一块，分分钟糊涂。这三个不定代词的具体使用方法分别如下：
1. both“全部，都”，指两个人或事物。可用作主语、宾语、定语或同位语。
Both like English. 大家两个都爱英语。
We invited both to come to our party. 大家邀请两个人都来参加晚会。
Both boys like playing football. 两个男生都爱踢球。
They both like playing football. 他们两个都爱踢球。
2. either“两者之中的任何一个，这个或那个”，可以作主语、宾语和定语。
Either of them will agree to this plan. 他们两人中会有人赞同这个计划的。
You may plant either in the street. 你可以种在街道的任一边。
You can take either book. 两本书任你拿一本。
注：either 还可作副词用于否定句，表示 “也”，等于一定句中的 “too”。
We don’t care it either. 大家也不在乎。
3. neither“两者都不”，可作主语、宾语和定语。
Neither likes English. 大家两个都不喜欢英语。
I like neither. 我全部都不喜欢。
Neither student can answer this question. 两个学生都不可以回答这个问题。
注：neither可用于句首，引导倒装句。
Neither have my parents been to Hongkong. 我爸爸妈妈都没去过香港。
